After-School Childcare Service
Most parents will be aware that the school has been running an After-School Childcare Service pilot since February 2019. It has been partially successful but we are pleased to announce that the Leadership Team and Governing Body have approved for this additional service to continue indefinitely.
We do however, need more parents to commit to utilising this valuable service in order to ensure that it becomes permanently available and perhaps potentially extending it to include school holiday childcare (and possibly to pupils who do not attend the school) at some point in the future.

The After-School Childcare Service runs in conjunction with the After-School Activity Clubs that we also operate which generally finish at 4:15pm. If any children take part in an After-School Activity Club they will be transferred to the After-School Childcare Service by members of the school staff.
Both the After-School Activity Clubs and Childcare Service will be staffed by members of the Aylesham Primary School team. This will help with the setup of the clubs/childcare service and wellbeing of the children, making transition from school to club/childcare service smooth and support effective communication.
In order to use our After-School Childcare Service or Breakfast Club Service you will need to register your child by completing an Application Form. The Childcare Service will then be available for you to use either on a regular or ad-hoc basis. Signing up for the Childcare Service will be on a first come first served basis and there will be limited numbers.
If you are interested in signing up your child/children to the After-School Childcare Service, please complete the appropriate Application Form (also available from the school office) and return it to the school office as soon as possible.
