FLO News

Welcome, my name is Haylee Loughran and I am the Family Liaison Officer (FLO) here at Aylesham Primary School. My role is to work in partnership with families and provide a link between home and school to better enable children to progress in education and reach their full potential. Life is not always simple and sometimes situations arise which could impact a child's well-being or interupt their progress and ability to focus in school. It is my role to try and help by working alongside families to reduce or prevent this, listen to their worries and identify solutions together.

I am here to offer support and guidance to all families. To listen, care, empathise and develop options.  I am available to work with all parents, carers and children who would like someone to listen and support them, to access information about school matters, community resources or help accessing other agencies or networks. I can offer help with various concerns you may have such as parenting struggles, family breakdown, emotional welfare, attendance, financial concerns, bereavement etc.  We can work together to make things better for you and your child.

I am here from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm every day and can be seen outside school at drop off and pick up times.  Please just come and chat with me, or alternatively make an appointment via the office.
